Cricut Infusible Ink

Infusible ink transfer sheets & markers are a great wat to incorporate vibrant colors & patterns to various medias.

Cricut sells several items that are specific for infusible ink – T-Shirts, tote bags, onesies & coasters to name a few.
Choose your favorite cutter to cut an image on transfer sheet & heat press. I did this process on the tote bag – of course I did both sides. The color is very vibrant & there are lots of patterns & colors available.
Infusible ink markers are more specific to Cricut since they are made to fit in the A side of the attachment slot. First you have to use an image that provides you with an outline, using a infusible pen, I used (0.4) draw the image on white printer paper. After drawing is complete use infusible markers to color in image then heat press to item.(I used my double sided markers – marker 1.0mm brush 2.5-3.2mm)

Tips & Tricks
1. As always with heat transfer – don’t forget to mirror the image when specified. Heat transfer can keep the best of crafters humble by forgetting this very simple step. You can probably find where I had to eat humble pie. hint:stay wild
2. When coloring with markers chose your outline color accordingly to the design, because it will show, be careful to evenly fill in areas because inconsistencies will transfer.
3. Cricut products produce the best vibrant color results but I have experimented on a standard cotton tee & gotten a nice result, just a little muted.
