I was skeptical about ironing heat transfer material on wood but decided to try it.
All is calm I used foil HTV & although it looks successful it had its challenge. The biggest being that it isn’t recommended on the packaging for this application – but why should that stop me from trying?!? It took several pressings & some persuasion to adhere but my perseverance paid off.
Since I had not yet honed in my skills I decided to give it another try on the other side.
Chilling with my gnomies was a better application process since I used Siser HTV (which is what I have seen on most examples)
I offer 3 suggestions if you want to give this a go…
1. Sand & remove dust from surface
2. Make sure surface is cut evenly
3. Be ready to use the backside
